Airport Business Permits
If you’re planning to conduct commercial activities on the airport, you must first obtain an Airport Business Permit. This permit ensures that all commercial operators meet the airport’s Minimum Operating standards, insurance requirements, and other applicable regulations.
Who needs a business permit?
An Airport Business Permit is required for any individual, business, or organization engaging in commercial activities on airport property, such as:
-
Flight schools
-
Aircraft maintenance and repair services
-
Charter operations
-
Retail services
-
Hangar rental services
Permits are also required of any mobile business that is not permanently located on the airport, but provides services on the airport.

How to apply for a business permit
-
Review the Minimum Operating Standards. These standards outline the qualifications, requirements, and expectations for all commercial operators.
-
Complete and submit the Application Form. Ensure all required fields are completed and that you attached any necessary documents, such as proof of insurance.
Once a permit application is received and all requirements are met, the permit will be submitted to the Airport Advisory Board for approval. Commercial activities may not commence until the permit application is fully approved.
